Hi my name is Hector Moran, I lead cross-functional teams to ship complex enterprise products — from pre-MVP through global release — integrating AI into production workflows and driving adoption through structured discovery and pilot-driven iteration.
Who I am
I am a Senior Product Manager based in San Jose, California. For the last several years I have led enterprise technology products at Anywhere Real Estate, first re-platforming a native mobile app used by 2,900 monthly active users, then taking an enterprise platform from pre-MVP through release across 5 markets.
My work sits at the intersection of business outcome, user need, and technical feasibility. I run structured discovery, design pilots that generate real signal, and translate what I learn into roadmaps that multiple teams can execute against.
Outside of my day job, I build side projects to stay close to the technology: AI agents, data pipelines, and trust-and-safety tooling. I prototype, test, and iterate the same way I do at work — by starting with the user and measuring the right thing.

My background is real estate — fifteen years inside settlement operations, then seven building products for the agents and brokers who run those transactions. What I actually do is build for people whose work is complicated, regulated, and full of steps nobody wrote down. I've sat with the people doing the job, and the workarounds they've built for themselves usually tell you more than the spec does.
I want to work with teams that value structured discovery, fast iteration, and shipping products that make operations simpler, not more complicated.
