Listing Manager
Enterprise platform · Pre-MVP → 5 Markets
An enterprise platform I led from pre-MVP through 5 production release making it software ready across 15 markets, giving agents and brokers one place to create, publish, and manage listings.

The Problem
Listing Manager centralizes listing creation within the Anywhere ecosystem, enabling single-point data entry, seamless access to affiliated services (mortgage, title, insurance, RealVitalize, Exclusive Look, Listing Concierge), and strategic control over syndication timing and visibility. This initiative reduces operational friction, improves data quality, and positions Anywhere to adapt to market shifts — including private listing models — while unlocking new monetization opportunities and partner value. It's a critical step toward owning our listing data, streamlining systems, and delivering differentiated experiences at scale. Today, agents must manually enter listing information into multiple disconnected systems — MLS platforms, forms providers, marketing tools, and compliance systems. This fragmented process is inefficient, error-prone, and creates friction in the agent workflow. It also limits Anywhere's ability to access, manage, and leverage listing data at scale — reducing opportunities to deliver value-added services at key moments in the listing lifecycle.
Users & What I Learned
Real estate agents
Need to get an accurate listing live fast, with photos, copy, and compliance details handled in one flow instead of five systems.
Decisions I Made and Why
Pre-MVP discovery before a single sprint
I ran structured interviews and shadowed listing coordinators to map the real workflow, including the undocumented workarounds. That mapping set the MVP scope.
Market-by-market rollout
Rather than a big-bang launch, we piloted in one market, measured adoption and support volume, then expanded — each release informed by the last.
AI where it removed real effort
Generative content creation and automated data extraction were added where they cut manual typing, not as a headline feature.
Processing Pipeline
Discovery
Interviews and job shadowing across markets to map the real listing workflow.
Define
PRDs, data model, and prioritized backlog aligned with market operations.
Build & pilot
Iterative delivery with a single-market pilot generating adoption signal.
Scale
Phased rollout to additional markets with training and support feedback loops.
Delivery: discovery → definition → pilot in one market → phased rollout across 5 markets.
