PowerSnap! Mobile App
iOS & Android · Re-platform · NPS 84
A native mobile app used by 2,900 monthly active users to open orders, run net seller sheets, and track quotes and transactions in the field. I led its re-platform while it was live in the hands of real users.

The Problem
The app was business-critical but built on aging foundations: slow releases, fragile builds, and a UI that no longer matched how agents worked. Re-platforming a live app means you cannot pause the business — every change has to land without disrupting daily use.
Users & What I Learned
Field agents and loan officers
Work from a phone between appointments. They need quotes, net proceeds, and order status in a couple of taps — no training required.
Title and escrow operations
Need orders opened with clean, complete data so downstream processing does not stall on missing details.
Decisions I Made and Why
Re-platform incrementally, never a hard cutover
Shipping in slices kept the live user base productive and let us catch regressions against real usage instead of a staging environment.
Calculators as the front door
Usage data showed net seller sheets and calculators drove the most sessions, so they got top-level placement in the redesigned dashboard.
NPS as the guardrail metric
Every release was measured against satisfaction, not just crash-free rate. Sustaining NPS 84 through a re-platform was the bar.
Processing Pipeline
Baseline
Instrumented current usage and satisfaction to know what could not regress.
Prioritize
Ranked screens and flows by real session volume, not internal opinion.
Ship in slices
Incremental releases to live users with feedback captured each cycle.
Measure
NPS, adoption, and support volume reviewed per release to steer the next one.
Delivery: baseline usage → prioritize by session volume → incremental releases → measure and steer.
